THE FUNNY POLITICS IN KONSHISHA.

Konshisha local Government belongs to the second or third generation of local councils in Nigeria having been created in 1989 by the the Babangida administration. One would expect the local to come of age in terms of development.
Sadly enough, Konshisha remains of of the most backward local Government. There is nothing to point at as an accomplishment of the local government despite its huge revenue.
You can count some strutues viz, three club houses, a leaking secretariat counting its days and one tarred federal road that run across the council.
With fertile land ,and  a huge allocation from the federal Government, one wanders why Konshisha remain undeveloped. The reason is simple- greed and selfish interest.
 The aim of every politician in Konshisha is to have a house in makurdi and Abuja. The launching pad is therefore Konshisha. You annoint a stooge as your bait or you go yourself. Nobody screen candidates. The question i s who is sponsoring you?
All former chairmen of Konshisha have mansions in makurdi, but not a single boys quarter in Tse agberagba. There are all visitors there.
Time has come for Konshisha to change. Let's do away with the who is sponsoring you syndrome but look for sons and daughters of the local government ho will develop the council.

WELCOME EMBER MONTHS.

The last four months of the year are called Ember months- that is September, October, November and the almighty December.
The the past ember months were widely celebrated with Christians, the road safety , companies and even individuals lining up their programmes to celebrate the ember months.
How is the ember months this year? From the look of things , it appears Xmas may not even be celebrated. This is attributed to the galloping inflation been experienced in Nigeria. Families are basically tying to survive. Every commodity in the market is out of reach. A bag of rice goes for 17 thousand naira. How much will that cause at Xmas?
People are daily committing suicide because of economic hardships now.
Schools resume nationwide this week, hope of students going back is bleak because of lack of funds.
Only God will help.

WHY THE BOKO HARAM MOVEMENT WILL FAIL

 

Presently an anonymous and confused sect known in Hausa as Boko Haram has procured arms and ammunitions from another confused country, Iran and is carrying out bombing campaigns in Nigeria killing people mercilessly.

Their primary concern is that they don’t want the West. The question is is Nigeria the west and what is wrong with the west?

Who are their leaders? Up to now no body has come out to own up this movement.

If youths in the Niger-Delta carried out similar bombing campaigns and succeeded, Boko haram will fail. because the Niger –Delta knew what they were doing .

Boko Haram on the other hand doesn’t  know what they should be doing.

And that explains why Boko Haram will fail.

OVERHAUL OUR SECURITY SYSTEM

For Nigeria to meet her numerous security challenges,an urgent overhaul of the security system is needed. In other countries, security is taken as a priority ,but here,it is only when something happen that security will be remembered.After that,every thing about security is gone. Another aspect of security that needs attention is training.Most of the security personnel are not well educated.Training is vital for effeciency. Besides training, our security need equipment especially communication. Security personnel can perform optimally if given the right orientation and equipment.
