The police officer who spoke on condition of anonymity said one of those indicted by the Kpojime Commission, Mr Richard Gbande, escaped when Police went to arrest him but that his two cars were impounded.

He revealed that large amounts of money and ammunition were recovered from the houses of some of those arrested.

Reacting to the development, the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Michael Gusa,  who also confirmed the arrests stated that the Governor Ortom administration would do everything legally possible to recover the looted funds.

Next stop: Lagos! This is my first trip to sub-Saharan Africa. I'll be meeting with developers and entrepreneurs, and learning about the startup ecosystem in Nigeria. The energy here is amazing and I'm excited to learn as much as I can.

Our first stop is the Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB) in Yaba. I got to talk to kids at a summer coding camp and entrepreneurs who come to CcHub to build and launch their apps. I'm looking forward to meeting more people here!

How To Survive In a Recession.

What is a recession?
Commonly put ,a country can be said to be in a recession when it is unable to meet its statutory responsibilities like payment of salaries to workers, maintenance of critical infrastructural etc.
Since 2014, Nigeria has been in in recession due largely as a result of dwindling revenue from oil. The situation now is so bad that most states cannot pay salaries.
How do one cope with the Recession?
A recession is a realistic situation that demands a concrete plan.
Most people have gone spiritual but these are simple tips:
1. Cut down on expenditure budget.
2. Make economic sacrifices.
3. Forego foreign and luxurious lifestyles.
4. Cut down travel plans etc
If at individual levels ,these measures are adopted, the adverse effect of the recession might be minimized.

Between Anini and Gana

Both Anini and Gana have one thing in common. They are die hard criminals. Anini has since been killed by Government forces while Gana is still wanted by the Benue stat Government. A reward of 5m naira has been placed on his head for any one that will offer useful information leading to his arrest.
While Anini operated in the Urban areas with financial institutions as his main target, Gana is rural based with cattle rustling and kidnapping as his main targets.
It is extremely difficult arresting Gana likewise Anini because of collaborators. Whilst AsP Iyamu aided Anini, we are yet to know the backers of Gana.
Is it PDP or other disgruntled party elements?. Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, the search for Gana continues.
